He should go watch Walking Dead, Road to Perdition, or The Road. There's some real parental bonding zombie/apocalypse type stuff (cept the 2nd one).

TLoU has more things in common with Children of Men than any of those films/series. LOL at the walking dead

Lets see.. post apocalyptic zombie infested world with a heavy emphasis on a mans bond with his son, versus post apocalyptic zombie infested world with a heavy emphasis on a mans bond with who is essentially his daughter. Yeah, completely different. LOL indeed.

Children of Men also has some similarities, but it's not going to get someone who didn't wanna have kids to want to change their mind and life since uh, you know, there are no children in the movie. I was going specifically for movies with a strong father/child bond, hence the Road to Perdition mention, which isn't even related to an apocalypse or zombies. Hope that helped.

I see you have  very deep perception and understanding of these movies and games. Not superficial at all !
