Both PSN and Steam were down during Christhmas Eve. Steam for like half a day and PSN for more than a day I believe. I can only think of 2 times (without counting normal maintenances) where the Nintendo Network was down: Wii U's launch and these past couple of days. I can also download full games at the same speed as Steam, so I ask, what makes NN so crap? is not on par with Steam nor anything like that, but where it's exactly SO BAD?

Also, where is the source that the Pokebank was hacked?

No it wasnt more than a day, I dont know where you got that from. I was on PSN most of Xmas eve and only the store went down for about 3 hours, at least in the east coast. Why's it so bad, well for one the fact that their is no cross purchase of games between VC games. thats a big one, they are usually late to the party in terms of apps 3ds just got a youtube app. These are things that have been available for other devices for years. Hell PS classics was transferable for as far back as PSP days.

THere was a rumor Pokebank got hacked. Probably not true, but that just tells me they are not up to snuff if they couldnt keep up and they had to put the system down for hours on end for DAYS at a time. Far worst than Steam or PSN

I was refering to preformance stuff like download speeds, stable services, no lag while online play and that kind of stuff. Not talking about features in general, in this regard they are late to the party.

However, afaik, apps like youtube, nextflix, etc are not being made by Nintendo, so you can't blame them for releasing those apps very late.
