Do you belive the PS4 will continue to sell 1.5-2mi a month next year, even the summer months?
I said before, it´s not easy to setup a production line for a world width product. You can lost as much monny if you over produce than if you under produce. Remember the 900mi Microsoft lost with the first Surface?
Production is based on contracting and managing a vast third party suply chain and workers. They are long term contracts, usualy 3 or 4 quarters. You can´t contract new ones every time you think your forcast is low, nor can fire/cancel if it´s too high.
