250 thousanths of a second is insignificant in most scenarios. I've been playing CoD Ghosts on X1 for that past three days on an LTE Wi-Fi hotspot connection with 350+ ms lag and I am not having any issues holding my own with people who play a lot more online then I do.
Also, I have had my X360 hooked up through my X1 since day one. I notice no difference in gameplay while on my 360 through the X1... It is just as smooth as a direct connect to the TV as far as I am concerned. There seems to be no difference in the lag of the X1 HDMI pass thru than a standard home receiver by Onkyo, Sony, Pioneer, etc.
