This actually seems to be supported by the fact that the Armored Core franchise has expanded into the mobile market. I personally am not as spiteful of mobile gaming (probably because I have a few friends working for small, indie developers making small titles for mobile, PC, and Xbox Live/PSN), but I do hope that the Souls franchise remains a traditional, gaming experience.
