+ more powerful than the PS2
+ The best games in the F-Zero, Resident Evil and Paper Mario franchises
- The last two years of its lifespan was too reliant on Mario Party, Donkey Konga and having Mario in all kinds of multiplatform games
- No Rare
- Less new IPs than on the N64, also a lot fewer exclusives
- Weak entries in the Star Fox, Wave Race, 1080 and 3D Mario franchises
- Kiddie image (but I bought a cool black one)
