Will the Wii U be the last Nintendo console you buy year one?

I have gotten every Nintendo system (Home & HH) within its first year since the N64 & GB.

Wii U was the first time I didn't buy it year 1. (Got burned on the 3DS) (XL is loads better) I'll probably get one next year once SSB4 is released.
