I have actually got no idea what to expect from GT7 or what state it will release in. If using Forza 5 as a guage with 200 people building everything for Xbox One again from ground up took nearly 3 years and we have 300 cars and less tracks. Polyphony have a lot less devs and a load of current content not even brought up to PS3 level. So anyones guess is how GT7 will be at release and when that will be. I actually have no real clue. |
This is exactly what they will do and is exactly why after GT5 I have pretty much wiped my hands with what used to be my favorite gaming franchise. Whenever GT7 releases on PS4 expect there to be the same jarring generation spanning assets like we see in GT5/6 where some assets are built for current gen and look amazing and some just look fugly and out of place because they are simply hi res previous gen assets. It's an easy way to up your car/track count with very little work. And people don't care. When people see the back of the GT6 case and see 1,200 cars or whatever, they don't mind that a majority of them are PS2 assets.
