Am I?

Alot of people who actually own an Xbox One that I know trusted the reviews. Played it at mine and thought it was a good game. And have subsequently bought it. Not understanding the reviews at all. Its not everyones cup of tea, but then cinematic games never are for everyone. By the way, Knack is the best exclusive I played on PS4 yet. Better than Killzone. Its different. Not anohter shooter.

Interesting that the people saying its rubbish are non Xbox Owners. But alot of Xbox owners are saying to their surpise its actually good.

Seriously, I doubt the majority of the complaints stem from the game being cinematic but rather from it having extremely shallow and repetitive gameplay.

I dont understand this remark for games like this. Heavy Rain, B2Souls, Ryse are all cinematic. Albeit in a different way, but the gameplay isnt suppose to be massively in depth. Its supposed to be an interactive game. Much like Quantic Dream do. I have friends who love Heavy Rain for example. Love it. Others who think its the biggest pile of boring no gameplay dog crap in the gaming world. These same people think that about Ryse. Some love its cinematic combat ( which is what it is ).

IMO Ryse is no more repetitive than alot of other rinse and repeat games that are praised out there. I actually think Assasins Creed is rather boring. It has a similar combat system ( albeit really poorly done after playing Ryse ) , but the storytelling is way worse. The best bit of Assasins Creed 4 is the ship battles. The running around, the stealth is all filler boring garbage.
