I agree, I'd have much rather seen this as a traditional RPG. Sony doesn't need Soul Sacrifice and this, and a more traditional game would really help diversify their library.
But if anything, I think this has the potential to do much better than Soul Sac because it's a lot more mainstream. So it's a tough call really.
