Easy peasy. Given that games that combine two or more series are becoming a little more common nowadays (Street Fighter x Tekken, Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem, Hyrule Warriors/Zelda Musou, Project X Zone), what gaming fusions would you like to see?
Any combination, anyway you like, whatever genre you want. You don't even have to keep the IPs, it can just be in the style of something. Personally I can think of two I wouldn't mind seeing:
Dragon Ball Z x Tales - To the best of my knowledge, we've never really had a fully fleshed out, 3D DBZ RPG, and given that Tales of has some of the most action-packed, exciting combat of any JRPG, I think these two could make a great combination which could do justice to the crazy, over the top scale of DBZ's fights. Best of all, they both belong to Namco, so it isn't impossible that we might see a game like this one day
Fallout x ICO - What I think would be interesting would be to see two children as in ICO, only they're trying to survive in a open-world, post-apocalyptic setting like in a Fallout game. Doesn't necessarily have to keep the IPs. The potential for not only a great game, but also a very touching, harrowing story is huge I think and would give an edge of vulnerability which I think many protagonists miss. I know the Last of Us did this a little with Ellie, but not as far as I would like to see
I also think this would be a great experiment to see if gaming as a medium is ready for such a serious, thought-provoking story - I'm not saying everything should be like this, but once in a while I think a game which forces you to take it seriously isn't necessarily a bad thing
Anyway, those are just my thoughts, what do the rest of you think? Like I said, go crazy, see what weird and wonderful things you can come up with. Also play nice, just because you don't like someone wanting a FFXIII Lightning waifu-sim doesn't mean you can slag them off about it.
Enjoy
EDIT: Sorry, should've been more specific - so that this doesn't just become a list of games with no reasons why you want it, why not add extra info - which characters, mechanics and ideas would you take from each side, why do you think you're chosen games would add together and make something great?
