Dragon Age isn't Mass Effect, they proved this when Dragon Age II pretty much said "FUCK YOU" to players who imported their save.
Kill characters in Origins? Well now they are alive again, because they wanted them to appear in DAII. There was almost no carryover, 95% of it was in text files.
Starting DAIII with a fresh save and no import will likely not make much of a difference.

Are you female? Cause that would explain the overlook on your logic.
Some of us... actually care about Morrigan and... that other person that is so connected to out DA1 character. These are things that are important in DA3 cause Morrigan is back. I sure want to know about that.

First, what sex your Warden is does not matter, male or female you can NOT perform the dark ritual as one of the story choices, you can NOT have Alistair do it either, yet DAIII wil likely still use the ancient god baby as a plotline, making importing save files pointless. Is no overlook on my logic.
Save importing in the Dragon Age series is a waste of time.

Please explain.
The dark ritual seems to be the cannonical outcome of DA:O as it is always an option regardless of what character you choose to play or what romance options you choose. It will be interesting to see whether Bioware standardise DA:I so Morrigan always has the archdemon baby, or if they allow for both options. Personally I think they really ought to have 2 long term visions of this world wrt Morrigan.
Has anyone done the dragon keep thing? is there the option to include it or exclude it from your DA:I setup?
