We're all pretty much born on the same level playing field aside from birth defects, etc.  Why is a guy that starts off thin, becomes incredibly obese, and then loses a lot of weight (and is still kinda overweight) considered somewhat of a hero and a role model and the guy that showed discipline their entire life and is in great shape kinda ignored?

And yes, this is about the PS4 and Xbox One.

Just kidding.  Discuss.

Because losing weight is a lot harder than maintaining your weight...

Then he should have maintained his weight in the first place instead of gaining....or is gaining the easiest option of all?

Thats not always easy. Sadly you seem to lack knowledge of the subject and are just judging everyone as if we all have the exact same genetics. I am 38. I weigh 185lbs and 6 foot tall. I can eat whatever I want and it doesnt have any impact on me. Now I know people that eat a 10th of what I do yet they gain a lot of weight from it because genetics is against them. I dont have to work to maintain my weight but millions do. A lot of people applaud those that lose weight because, for them, it is not an easy task. Its about over coming the odds when the odds are against you.

Before you continue to judge others out of lack of knowledge, take few hours to research it then maybe you will understand it better.
