No. They shouldn't. It doesn't even make sense from a marketing perspective. Sony doesn't want to help promote the Xbox controller. That's stupidity. You might as well acknowledge that the competitor's controller may be better. Sony wants to promote THEIR design. Xbox fans are not going to suddenly want the PS4 because there is a controller designed the same way on the console. For one, if that's what they want then they already have it. Two, the controller is not the sole reason they chose Xbox. For many it's not even a reason at all. Many of them chose Xbox because they liked the games, the features, the Kinect, Xbox Live, gaming with friends who are Xbox fans themselves, or simply "because Microsoft". Sony making a controller like the Xbox One controller would do little more than toss fuel onto an already raging fanboy fire.
