It´s actually quite simple. Like in professional sports like football some people chose a team and get so fanatic that they develop hate against rivals. Especially when it comes to Playstation some of those fanatics developed a superiority complex on top of the mentioned mentality because Playstation was the marketleader for two whole generations before. This made them even more vocal, disrespectful and agressive towards a company that outclassed the Playstation brand in the handheld and console space last gen.
