I have been holding off on making a prediction about worldwide console sales for December but here is my honest guess. I think all 3 consoles are going to be within 200k units of eachother. PS4 has had alot of shortages at first but it seems due to Amazon having them in stock all day, and ebay retail prices falling in the last 3 - 4 days that the initial launch demand has been fufilled. Xbox One had shortages for about a week and now they are readily available almost everywhere, but that should bode well since PS4's have been harder to find. From the looks of it, the Wii U Mario bundles were the smartest thing that Nintendo has done in a while. Alot of stores by me were sold out, Gamestop has had it in their top 12 sellers for a solid 10 days now, and they are even marked up 25 - 40 bucks on ebay, not to mention that the best new game out on any home console (SM3DW) appeals to a wide audience, expecially during the holiday season. So my final numbers are going to look something like this for December. I'm sure that I will be off on the totals but I am really expected the number of consoles sold to be a virtual tie.
PS4 - 1.1 m.
Xbone - 900 k.
Wii U - 900 k.
