I find that most people who say something like this have only tried disgusting macrobrews (Budweiser, etc.) You should find out what microbreweries operate near you and try some of their product if you're curious.
Or, failing that, if you're not 21 yet, wait until you are. Tastebuds develop as you grow older, even into your twenties.
