Is PS4 CPU is better than Xbone CPU?

They are the same. One is just faster.

They are literally the same chip, however MS has overclocked it a bit.

Thus one is not "better", just overclocked.

 

If we both go to new egg and buy the same i7 CPU, neither one of us has a "better" CPU. We bought the same exact model. But one of us could overclock it to allow it to run slightly faster... and hotter and potentially break faster, etc.

 

 

EDIT: plus there's alot more to it than just the CPU. There are other variables that could be affecting this test. People are being too narrow minded.

On top of all of that, it really doesn't matter as the GPU is the work horse now and PS4's GPU is definitely a better GPU in multiple ways.
