i found this and a few other videos and text files talking about this and it's happend in a few tornaments now..

the evil DRM :d

microsoft says :

“As we have said previously, there is no DRM check-in every 24 hours. Reports that say otherwise are inaccurate and false.

“Buying a game online makes it easy to play anywhere, on any Xbox One. All you have to do is sign into your Xbox Live account and you are instantly authorized to play any content (games, movies, music) that you’ve purchased on that Xbox. It just takes a quick sign-in, which Kinect makes easier than ever before.”

interesting so you need to be online to play your games.....thats not DRM?

is it DRM?  yes.

is it the DRM that required 24 hour check-ins?  no.

is it the exact same DRM as on ps4?  yes.

is if a fair use of DRM?  imo, yes.

Exactly!  It's digital, it will always be DRM based...
