Yeah, it looks like Vita has fuel to see april '14 alive and well, in Japan... In the West, who knows? We'll have to clutch to localizations, again.
The reason Europe is responding better than the US could be also because of soccer. Good or bad as it is, the best soccer game for handheld is FIFA 14 on Vita, at the moment, and kids seem to know it. The playstation brand, also, is still very strong and very visible in Champions League TV matches, and in the british Premier League.
