my PC being a i7-2600K 4.3GHz ; GTX 650 Ti OC 2Gb and 8Gb RAM at 1666 costed me around 500 and its miles beyond next gen consoles

150$ for each CPU, GPU then some decent RAM and the rest should be around 500. you should be able to play CoD better than PS4 does :P

You're completely wrong. While that's a powerful CPU, a GTX 650 2gb with 8gb RAM doesn't EVEN match the current PS4 setting.

Then again, it's a PC it's not nearly half as optimized for game as the PS4/X1

yeah i exaggerated a lil bit lol

i only have to upgrade my 650 Ti OC 2GB for the 660 Ti OC 3GB. which im gonna do soon for 50 extra bucks. and that will litterally put me way beyond current gen of consoles honestly

600$ box beats PS4 easily

You don't seem to understand the different architecture and how to calculate the equivalence.

The PS4 is a 8-cores x86 CPU optimized in all aspects for games. The GPU is the equivalent of a GTX 660ti but with an architecture (which is not limited by DirectX) and 8GDDR5 optimized and allocated to the GPU only.

So you'd probably a way better graphic card like GTX 750 with at least 4GB to match the current PS4 architecture.

But then again there's no point in trying to match it's power if game developper are not using that power, and also there's no point in getting a PS4 for the multiplatform game but for the exclusives.

The best combi is a powerful PC + a PS4.
