I remember a report from an "insider" on this that said that the XBone family share plan was actually just ~60 minute demos of the games in your library.

Otherwise lots of people would download games and give them out to 10 people and drastically reduce potential sales.

That's not true. A MS exec confirmed it was full games shared with 10 people in a "Family" list.

sure, "full games" in that all the assets of the game are on your console. You still only get to play 60 minutes of it. It's like PS+s "full game trial" where the "full game" is on your HDD, so you can play any aspect of it, but once the timer hits 60:00:0, you don't get to play anymore

There was no time limit, Marc Whitten and Aaron Greenberg confirmed this, Original post that Marc Whitten replied to was "would the original family share have had only offered time-limited access to games for family members?"

Well, my bad. It was CBOAT that said it on GAF, but I guess it was wrong

But then again, they only said this after their game sharing was nixed. They never explained how it worked when they were touting it as a great reason to get an XBone. You can't say "it was as we described" when they never described it

The same person that said MS was suffering from yield issues? Yeaaaaah that's credible.
