Were you the one I replyed to with this some time ago? I'll elaborate this time. 3DS only really got a "better" Persona announced back then because, even before launch, they had basically promised a Persona game for 3DS. So they were like "Hey, let's take a series by Atlus that was/is relatively popular on the DS (Etrian Odyssey) and give it a Persona makeover", and thus Q was born. It's basically what Persona 4 Arena is: They took another franchise and gave it a Persona skin. Dancing All Night is similar in that it seems to be pretty much what the Project Diva games are. These are popular among the PSP/Vita crowd as well, so it seems like a good fit. I'm pretty sure the Vita will get a port (probably enhanced) of Persona 5 in the future, but it would have never gotten an exclusive mainline game. That's not gonna happen, and that has never happened to a handheld before (has it?), so I'm not really sure what you expected. Sure, Vita could have gotten a spinoff RPG, too, but it's just the way it is. Besides, since P4D seems to feature a story mode, I really can't complain, because that's what matters most to me. And rhythm games can be really addictive, too, so I really look forward to it. |
If it was a rpg spin off it would be ok,and i would see many persona fans buying the game but not a dancing game, since this spin off look similar to Project Diva people will buy Project Diva games not this.
A rpg persona would also help vita more then this.
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m
