It was still selling at a loss right before they dropped the price, and now it's selling at an even bigger loss. Nintendo wants "Nintendo-like" profits, dropping the price will not do that for the immediate future. The hardware itself is probably around 180$, plus the bundle has the Gamepad, a game + DLC etc....therefore no one's getting a 200$ Wii U w/ Gamepad (from an official price drop) anytime soon. Just rely on the bargains and deals for cheaper prices.
