The Xbox 360 was a great console, but not as great as the PS3.

First of all, the X360 was easily hackable/crackable compared to the PS3 which is still hard/not possible to crack, hence why Microsoft insisted on the DRM/Anti-piracy policies.

Which in turn was a HUGE mistake because neither the PS3 nor most of the X360 owner want these change.

Then there is the fact that X360 was released one year earlier (which was a good decision to reach high sales) but eventually it was outsold by the PS3, which in turn continues to sell and more importantly, welcomes new exclusive AAA title which maintain the appeal of the console and brand.
