"nothing"

Now aren't you silly. Now I am not sure about quantity or how the metas will pan out, but I do know that Titanfall and Halo 5 will be the big exclusive blockbusters that frankly PS4 doesn't have anything exclusive that can compete. Yes I know Titanfall isn't technically exclusive, but its on X1 and not PS4

Titanfall and Halo 5 are hardly sufficient enough to differentiate a console from its competitor, especially when both games fall in the exact same genre. The PS4, on the other hand, has a much, much more diverse lineup. The PS4's exclusives covers genres such as racing (Driveclub), TPS (Uncharted, The Order), sandbox (Infamous: SS), and RPG (Guerilla's new IP). The XBone, however, has only one strong flavor while all of its other flavors are considerably weak.

Diverse.....when its best launch game is a FPS, something COD and BF4 are a better purchase anyway.....versus a solid gameplay F2P fighter, zombie slayer, and Race Sim. Xbox ironically has diversity going for it right now while Sony went with the shooter. 2014 can allow the Xbox to go with what it does best. Quantum Break and Project Spark also come to mind. Theres others sure but I am thinking of the big names.

Looking back to specific years of last gen, only a few games come to mind per year. These were the games that stood out, nobody will remember every single exlcusive of 2014 in 10 years time, just the ones that made the biggest splash in some way.

Just saying at least in terms of big AAA blockbusters that get the heavy marketing and buzz, X1 has Halo 5 and Titanfall. PS4 has Uncharted, if it is confirmed for 2014. The rest will be hits sure, but not blockbusters.

Clearly, launch titles are indicative of the diversity of a console's library /s Yeah.... try harder. You seem to forget that the vast majority of Sony's 1st party studios have not announced their titles yet. It doesn't matter if the games are blockbuster or not. They are still games. The main reason people buy consoles is not because of a few games, but the value their console of choice offers. The XBone's library is not that diverse especially when it is already being thinned out on exclusives. The PS4's library, on the other hand, is set for the next 3 years. In addtion to Sony's 1st parties, the PS4 will most definitely get exclusive support from other developers such as Namco Bandai (Tales series), Level-5 (Ni No Kuni 2?), Quantic Dream, Nippon Ichi (Disgaea series), Gust (Atelier series), and Atlus (Persona series). Within the next 5 years, the PS4 will have plenty of FPS's, TPS's, sandbox, action adventure, JRPG's, SRPG's, thrillers, racers, platformers, and sci-fi's. The XBone cannot compete with that even if it has the best FPS's in the world. A dish that superbly excels in one flavor, but is mediocre on others cannot be considered a good dish. A dish that excels in multiple flavors, though not superbly, will always be the better dish because it's delicious on all aspects.
