16 - One of the best soundtracks of the entire series, and widely credited as one of the first non-linear action adventure games that was actually successful due to its path selection and multiple character choices. It also featured an "intro" that was not direct movements / animations taken from gameplay. The previous entry in the series was also considered non linear but was not met with praise by critics or gamers. Many consider that previous cryptic game to be a cult classic in the series decades later.
15 - An often forgotten or even undiscovered gem by many gamers due to its movie tie in. Not only one of the best comic / movie IP games ever but the best arcade machine action side scroller ever made. It never made it to any home console and has gone on to be one of the hardest to find and pricier arcade cabinets on earth, and highest request for HD remakes to its company.

Yep you got it. Such an incredibly good game. Someone guessed 16. It was Castlevania 3. 17 was Borderlands 2.
Clue for 14 - I have played more multiplayer on this game than any other, and it had one of the most dedicated communities I have ever been a part of. It is the sequel to the game that many deemed the most violent game ever. It featured an andvanced damage modeling system that was critically acclaimed for its enhancement to realism. This same engine was used in a very good Star Wars game down the line as well.
