I know how you feel. I almost gave up on gaming all together after the PS2. The turn around for me was to change things up a little, and make gaming transform into something else. Particularily something I did with my family rather than sit by myself and play games. This change came on the form of the Wii in my case, who knows what will work for you, just make sure you find a platform that provides FUN again, do not keep doing the same things over and over.
