would have sold more with Graces coming to Wii in the west etc.....

probably but i imagine that PS3 version would have cannablized alot of the sales anyway. It being the better version and so much people being multiplat owners

Release date(s) Wii
  • JP December 10, 2009[1]
PlayStation 3

The original release of Tales of Graces for the Wii was so buggy that it was recalled.  But if they fixed the bugs and released it in the West in a timely manner (ie early 2011) it would have sold well.

Even Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World on the Wii sold well in both the East and West and it was a "gaiden" game.

woulda should coulda. I dont know judging by multiplat sales for these types of games between PS3 and Wii i imagine it would not make all that much difference, especially since the PS3 version would have been the definitive version. Wii one would have sold less i imagine.

Well the PS3 game is a port of a Wii game, which took time to develop.  If they did localize the game it would have come out on the Wii first.

There also wasn't that big a difference between North American sales of Tales of Graces f on the PS3 and Tales of Symphonia: DotNW on the Wii.

Tales of Graces f PS3 sales in N.A. = 0.24M
Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World Wii sales in N.A. = 0.20M

i disagree. Not on the porting part, that was never gonna happen not with all the problems the game had in Japan that shipped had sailed. If it had come out it would have been multiplat.

Actually upon closer inspection i say their is a difference. Considering how much later Graces f came out after Symphonia AND how bigger WIi's install base is. That means Graces f sold faster in a shorter amout of time to a lesser amount of people. Thats a big difference. ANd thats not even brining in sales from other area.s Graces f really did much better in Japan
