Final Fantasy X/X2 On Vita Gets Release Date

Square Enix has announced the release date for Final Fantasy X and X-2 on the PlayStation Vita for March 18 which is a day and day release alongside the PlayStation 3 versions of the game.

A collector’s edition for the game was also announced for PlayStation 3.

Speaking on the PlayStation Blog, Square’s Sakura Minamida announced the release date for the handheld version and also stated the two games can be bought together in a combo pack on the PS Store though you can also buy Final Fantasy X as a physical copy and you’ll get a voucher for Final Fantasy X-2.

The collector’s edition is also exclusive to the Square Enix Online store. “This is the definitive edition of the game for those of you who, like me, loved every minute of the original, and made costumes of all the characters for your friends so they could wear them… once,” Minamida writes.

The collector’s edition comes with a hardcover sketchbook, the new HD remastered soundtrack for Final Fantasy X and a set of lithographs with designs of the characters on them.
