Sure, the world is bigger than Japan... but the discussion that I was having was about Japan. Somini was saying that Japan was handheld country, and so that's why Sony isn't releasing the PS4 there yet, and I pointed out that the Wii U was selling fine in Japan.

Context - it's somewhat important in a conversation.

The point is, comparing the Wii with the Wii U, it's easy to point that Wii U isn't selling well. Japan currently is a handheld country, but it is probably more related to the fatigue of current (last gen). I expect Sony and Nintendo to have sales proportion between handhelds and home consoles more similar to NA and EU, with a slight higher advantage for portables. MS will probably do like 360 in Japan.

You really aren't getting it, are you?

Somini asserted that Sony is delaying the release of the PS4 in Japan because it's handheld country, and thus the PS4 won't do particularly well. I pointed out that the Wii U isn't having any trouble, thereby indicating that it's got nothing to do with "handheld country".

Now, just admit that you didn't pay enough attention to what I was talking about when you first responded to me, and I won't think poorly of you. Or keep trying to spin this into an anti-Nintendo, pro-Sony argument, and I'll dismiss you as a console warmonger. The choice is yours.
