Same and I can vouche for 7 Gamestops friends work at that they got enough stock to cover pre-order + and extra 25% to sell at door.
This seems like a myth used to justify low sales. Not sure how sales increse with no stock from 93k to 165k, its impossible.

Considering both the X1 and the PS4 are quickly catching up with the Wii-u which has been out for a whole year I dont think anyone is trying to justify their sales numbers in a defensive way.

Once pre-orders are filled by fans that buy regardless of games, then sales are nose diving hard.
93k and 165k in peak sales month are not great, damage control is needed.

The real story no one wants to talk about is that Sony is a financial disaster and even they do everything right with the ps4 its unlikely they will see out the ps4's lifespan. Because they are in such a big hole that they can never dig themselves out off. Only hope is breaking up the company and selling it off or they will lose everything.
