Youtube pre-purchase was bleeding money no-stop. This whole content ID thing did not start with this videogame channels getting videos claimed. It all started with the music videos being uploaded without any permission. The music industry forced google to sign a contract and create VEVO, some other music labels have thier own systems though. People are reacting like if this is googles' doing, but their position is simple. Keep those video game channels and getting sued, or claiming everything they can to avoid getting sued? It makes sense right?

Personally, I'm okay with youtube making money and I'm fine with copyright protection (unless I want to watch something like old WWE matches or a TV show from my childhood...but I don't get mad when the rules are enforced.) It's the forced Google Plus integration that pisses me off.
