I don't know how it is in the rest of the U.S or the rest of the world, but both Verizon and Comcast (the two largest internet providers in the areas I've lived in) have unlimited data for all of their home internet services, including the cheapest plans. The average download speed in the U.S is 7.4 Mbps. Considering the people who would want a console like this would be in the upper rather than lower 50%, we can expect 2-4 hours for a file that is 10 GB - 20GB (with compression this is possible for blu-ray games.) That is less than a day at work/school/etc. Certainly there is a market for these type of people.
