The thing is we really don't know if Sony cares enough for playstation mobile to try and bring android apps to it, nor that developers care for it. I think there were some sales data from some of the playstation mobile apps a while back and the sales weren't good at all.

People can I get your attention for some seconds ? Believe me it would be worth it. And be sure to read it all.

So, you probably don't know DraStic do you ? No of course you don't. DraStic is a wonderful android app. Not only what it does, it does it the best, but it also does it the best it can do. What does this shit do ? It's a perfect emulator for DS games. And when I mean perfect, i really mean perfect. You all know I don't give compliment easily huh =P. That shit runs everything fine (except heavy 3D games, but none of them are good one, not even correct one), even on my poor Xperia E. Plus, it's simple to use, intuitive and very complete.  

Don't believe me ? Try it for free from google play, you'll be blown I swear it to you. 

But you are in love with the vita, so who care about an android app ? But, since it's just a small app and since the vita is way more powerful than the app need and since playstation mobile allow programmers to port android and mobile shit to vita, it would be damn abracadabra possible to port it up to vita. And it could be done very fast. 

Playing the ds games on Ps vita ? It's possible, a very very very likely "possibility" and a very cool one. All we need is the DraStic guy know that we would all be glad to have their emulator on the ps vita. 

Voilà, I thought it would be cool if I shared my discover with you.

Like NEM said is not possible without issues... the other problem is obtaining the Roms, even if You download them directly from the app's servers to the Vita I don't see possible the app accessing to the folders of the Vita without the required keys.. These type of apps usually requires rooting on the phone to properly access to everywhere on the phone...

 

So sorry to shatter your dream, is not possible unless the Vita is hacked and modded.. go and buy a DS...
