If I were gamestop I would send out an email every week regardless if we have stock or not.
It would get customers in the door and then just be like "oh sorry, sold out"
They might buy something while they are there.
Sure customers might get pissed, but gamestop has done a shit ton worse and rip people off on used sales, and yet still people seem to go there all the damn time. So why not.
