That's probably because 90% of Vita games are digital only these days :P

I'm not sure Sony are making any money worth writing home about off Vita to be honest.  It's selling in such small volumes that they'd have to be making like the full $200 profit off every sale pretty much; and accessories and memory cards are limited by the amount of people buying the machine.

 

(I'm tired and these NPD numbers have made me grumpy because Vita deserves better!)

haha come on now..as long as they earn more than they spend it's profitable for them. Not like SCEA is doing any marketing for the system or anything. At this point the system has been in the market for long enough + absurdly high memory card premiums + extra revenue due to digital sales = profit. I don't have a doubt about it at all. 

But I agree. they treat it like shit and the sales reflect it. Vita deserves better
