All of the stock in the official Sony sore was already gone when I got there ( within the first 3 hours of the official launch ) they only had pre-ordered units waiting to be collected.
X-Cite (the biggest electronic store in Kuwait) had 7 units left, 2 units were sold in front of my eyes. The PS4 is on fire, I don't think any console has ever created such a big buzz here. I was lucky to get mine, I honestly couldn't resist.

The offical price is 130 KD = 460$. As for the second part, I honestly have no idea. Sony, however, is taking  "us"  seriously for the first time. relatively big  advertisment campaign , Arbic Language support ( on the boxarts/in-game subtitles ), very good offical price . We never had any of that before. I think it is safe to say that the PS4 will dominate here and break the records.
