I played both and I say the Xbone won the launch because they kept Dead Rising from Sony and they have Killer Instinct. Those two games alone are just so much more fun than anything the PS4 launched with exclusively. Of course Sony will have the true hot exclusives soon enough and take over as they always do but I would be lying if I said I wasn't having fun with the Xbone right now.

Wow, suprized by this, but good for you S.T.A.G.E. Glad you are having fun. I almost chose that, but when with Ryse instead. Really enjoying it.
The demo for Dead Rising 3 should be availible soon. Will have to check it out.
Have you tried Sports Rivals Preseason yet?

I agree with S.T.A.G.E to be honest, Killzone is great and all, but I've never been a huge fan of multiplayer so once the campaign was over there wasn't much left for me to do on PS4, exclusives wise - I'm currently playing through Black Flag on it, but obviously thats multi plat.
Currently DR3 is getting the most exclusive-playtime of both of the systems i own, mainly due to the very nature of the game, i would argue that the PS4's biggest problem is lacking an open world game you can pick up and play for any length of time just for fun, without going online or being tied down by strict storyboarding.
I do believe, as S.T.A.G.E does that in the next few years the PS4 will offer more in regards to exclusives, and indeed indies, and with that, the price, and the features in mind, I do believe it's the better console of the two, however, I am glad i picked up both consoles, because both have provided me with a lot of enjoyment thus far.

What! you too Frequency!
What is happening here. People are enjoying their Xbox Ones? What is this magic? Clearly something unexpected is going on in the world.
Did you get a chance to try Ryse?
|
I did, and honestly beyond the visuals i found it to be terribly boring after 20 minutes - I have completed it of course, but I wouldn't really call the experiece of doing so a great one, Ryse to me was a massive missed opportunity to do something tremendous, marred by rushing and lack of a solid vision beyond what is essentially a crytec tech demo, not too dissimilar to their Crysis franchise as of late. I Much prefer DR3.
With that said, If forum posters such as myself and S.T.A.G.E are willing to give "rival" consoles a try and enjoy them, I'd like to believe ardent xbox fans would do the same for the PlayStation 4 too.
