Switch? Hardly, I think this is a common misconception, but a whole lot of people play both. Especially teens game simpler fare on their tablets/phones as well as Call of Duty and Need for Speed. We used to have DVD kits for cars with screens for the headrest to keep the kids occupied, but now they're riding in the back seat, staring into the small screen of phones and tablets. I work at a treatment home for teens, boys only. They have regular computer hours every day and they always play Counterstrike: GO, Call of Duty, or some otther shooter game and sometimes we drive them to a huge internet cafe on weekends. Every single ride they take, they're playing simple and somewhat stupid games on their phones.

It's like they're obsessed with clicking on something and interacting with something the whole damn day. Look at people in coffee shops and McDonald's, what are they doing? On the bus or the train? Aboard airplanes? They sit with their phones and tablets and a lot of them play simple games on them. Many of them also play on consoles or PC's when they're at home, these aren't all completely separate groups.

But, I get what you're saying though. For adult gamers, I think the interest in mobile games is very close to zero and I do think that the majority of mobile "gamers" aren't interested in other forms of gaming as a rule. No one is going to switch from consoles and PC's to mobile only though, that's unheard of. Dedicated handhelds are a different story though, especially with the increasingly powerful hardware in phones/tablets, selection of more intricate games and the obvious advantage of having a multitasking machine is enough to be alluring to quite a few handheld gamers.

That is what i think but many peoples thinks console will be dead because of smartphone and tablets.
