It's like they're obsessed with clicking on something and interacting with something the whole damn day. Look at people in coffee shops and McDonald's, what are they doing? On the bus or the train? Aboard airplanes? They sit with their phones and tablets and a lot of them play simple games on them. Many of them also play on consoles or PC's when they're at home, these aren't all completely separate groups. But, I get what you're saying though. For adult gamers, I think the interest in mobile games is very close to zero and I do think that the majority of mobile "gamers" aren't interested in other forms of gaming as a rule. No one is going to switch from consoles and PC's to mobile only though, that's unheard of. Dedicated handhelds are a different story though, especially with the increasingly powerful hardware in phones/tablets, selection of more intricate games and the obvious advantage of having a multitasking machine is enough to be alluring to quite a few handheld gamers. |
That is what i think but many peoples thinks console will be dead because of smartphone and tablets.
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m
