I think Pachter has missed by some measure. My guess is in the 220-240k region, not amazing but far, far better than 150k.

I also have difficulty believing his numbers, and yes, even if Nintendo pulled support right now and cancelled all upcoming games for 2014, Super Mario 3D World alone would still justify its purchase for me personally. Then again, i'm a multiplatform owner so if console systems i invest in fails(this happened a few times), it doesnt really affect me in dramatic ways.
