Why do Nintendo fans think the gaming industry will die if nintendo aint leading?

[freebs2]

I don't think the industry would die without Nintendo but as a gamer I like variety, Nintendo console in the good and in the bad offer something different from Sony and Microsoft, I don't whant to lose that variety.
