It was released a week earlier in all but 2 countries. And PS4 got to 2 million on 30 Dec, only 9 days after Xb one release. So to get close to PS4's sales it means PS4 would have to have sold almost zero units over the following 9 day period. Let's see how many units PS4 has sold in those 9 days before we go claiming Xb one has closed any sales gaps.
