Week ending in dec 22, is very likely to be bigger than the week ending in dec 29. And, your numbers are way too high.

You seem to think the Japanese holiday season starts when the western holiday season starts? Shops in Japan will close on dec 29 this year and stay closed for the following 7 days. However, i believe you hope i'm right and wouldn't mind eating crow if i am:)

I think that I don't have to keep going.

..or we can go for a more comparable year. For example a year with the week ending DECEMBER 30th. Therefore i will cherrypick 2007. It compares nicely with the week ending DECEMBER 29th, no? Then again 2012 ended on DECEMBER 30th, so my argument may not be valid:p

As you can see; the Wii had a great week ending dec 30th 2007 with a +47 sales increase from the previous week. Also no new high profile game was released that week for the system.

Wii 249,447 (+47%)

That's the week ending on Dec-23rd. If you go to the next week, you'll see that everything is down except X360.

OK. This is weird. I just had to take a picture to show you what i see on my screen:

It show Wii sales increase by +47% week ending dec 30. Now that i updated it, its suddenly dec 23. I'm starting to see how my calculations are incorrectXD

Here are my revised numbers:

I predict the following WiiU sales moving forward:

Week ending dec 8: 40 000 (real numbers ended up at 46000-48000)

Week ending dec 15: 65 000

Week ending dec 22: 90 000

Week ending dec 29: 60 000

Week ending jan 05: 80 000

ThereXD
