Are people out of their minds, so what if PS4 and Xbox One sold more than any other console at launch... That doesn't mean anything. That was fixed to happen before it ever even happened. Let me explain something to you, when a console releases, its popular, and often the stores selling those consoles will have line ups outside of them. This is because the store only gets enough consoles to satisfy about 1/10th of the people who want them...
SO OF F***ING COURSE THEY SELL OUT AT LAUNCH... Microsoft and Sony both held back their release dates long enough so they could produce enough consoles so they would break those records. IT MEANS NOTHING.
The Wii could have had 5 times those numbers if it shipped 5 million consoles, they would have all been sold.
