this. point 3 is just a bad example, that crap barely works as COD itself is on a decline despite adding two more SKUs this year. People werent fooled by that perfect score commercial.
I have my own paranoid theory. It seems some who keep saying it will crash are only saying so because their console of choice isnt doing so hot. But i am paranoid.

Well a lot of Wii U people were saying that lol. I'm more inclined to think that 2/3rds through this gen some big changes will be made, but I don't think it will be anwhere near as bad as the 1980's.
However some of the things listed are real problems that need to be addressed one way or another...

i think some of the issues will clear themselves, by the fans. Kinda like how we collectively got in the ass of MS at e3. reviews wont carry that much weight as their is too much info out there to be that dishonest. and people will just stop buying games that have those microtransactions forcing change
