On topic, it seems Xbox One is undertracked in vgchartz at least 300k, It should be around 1'8 mill at the end of the 2nd week.
Me and Pachter will be wrong with USA sales, it seems Xbox One must have sold the same units as PS4 in USA, around 1'2-1'3 million at the end of November, and around 400-500k in BF.
Sony seems to have dropped the ball in USA with the lack of stock there (It seems it's Sony the one with production problems). Maybe they're reserving for christmas in USA, or maybe they want to support Europe more.
It looks like USA will be neck and neck between PS4 and Xbox One, and Europe will be the differentiator. I think Sony is tryng to equal the US numbers with European ones. And Microsoft seems to focusing the stock availabe in USA to be ahead of PS4 at the end of the year.
