The AI definitely brakes too much for corners in the early races (I've only just started on the national A events). You can still win the early races with a 100pp difference, using blocking tactics on the straights :) It's still start in the back, pass all the cars.
First 2 tiers only have 6 opponents, National A ramps it up to 10. Oh well it teaches you how to pass cars instead of driving out in front the whole time.
The new tracks are great, the addition of day/night/weather on a lot of tracks is very welcome. I haven't really noticed any downgrades. Power lines look a bit better, I didn't notice the pop in in London anymore, yet other things feel a bit worse. I'm spoiled with native 1080p now, horizontal upscaling from 1440 to 1920 shows.
My biggest gripe atm is that my music won't play in the career races. It works in the menus and special events, but in career mode I'm stuck with the crappy in game music.
