Do those really mean something when consoles sell tens of millions more in the US?

Tens of millions? Where in the world did you get that number? The PS4 sold ~1.2 million in the US and ~900k everywhere else. Last time I checked, 300k =/= 10's of millions.

Anyways, the thread should renamed to "XBox One most wished for video game item on Amazon *US*". It should also be noted that the wish list rankings are not even close to being representative of Amazon's overall rankings.

you should re-read that. I said CONSOLES sell tens of millions more in the US. Not Xbox One and PS4 specifically.

Then what's your point, exactly? PS4 is a console and it only sold 300k more in the US than in the other countries. Your statement is absolutely false because by your logic, the 360 will still be leading the PS3 in sales, in which it is the total opposite.

Game consoles (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, Wii U, Xbox One, PS4) sell more in the US than Canada, UK, France, and Germany combined. That is my point. An Amazon Bestsellers list doesn't do much of an impact when the country it comes from doesn't even sell 10 million of a console

More, but by how much? 10's of millions because that is not even close to what the number actually is. Just from looking at sales figures, we can say that American sales are about 33% larger than the rest of the world sales, or a 4 to 3 ratio. The point where consoles in America sell 10's of millions of consoles more than everywhere else is when the consoles will have sold at least 140 million units (where 80 million will be sold in the US and 60 million everywhere else). However, only two systems have sold over that quantity (the PS2 and the DS). However, we're talking about the beginning of the generation where the X1 has sold around 1.5 million and the PS4 has sold 2.1 million. The rankings are quite significant because 1.) the UK is the XBox's 2nd strongest market and 2.) Europe is nearly as large of a market as the US. Stop making things up.

There you go with that selective reading again. The Amazon pages clearly say Canada, UK, France, and Germany. US SELLS TENS OF MILLIONS MORE THAN THOSE COUNTRIES! NOT ALL OF EUROPE
