I have to say, I never did like Big Boss that much. He was like a truly asshole (probably after The Phantom Pain) and he got soo much love because he was still a "good" man during the events of MGS3, Portable Ops (is this game still non-canon?) and Peace Walker. He's certainly cool, but this cheater fought a naîve Snake using a machine-gun while Snake had only his hands in retaliation.
And he lost the battle.
Solid Snake is, by far, the best character in the whole MGS saga. But I keep thinking Raiden is a pretty nice character by himself. I enjoyed MGS2, a lot.
